Ever wonder where the thousands of dollars you pay in taxes actually goes? Tax Receipt is a tool set up by the US Government that gives you a breakdown of how your tax dollars are spent. Just fill in how much you pay for your social security, medicare and income tax, and the tool will automatically generate a receipt for you.

A percentage and dollar amount is displayed for each category your money goes to, for example defense, education and health care. Where My Money Goes is a simple website that breaks down your annual tax bill and shows where your money is being spent across different government projects. This allows you to clearly see if your money is wisely spent or not.

Where My Money Goes is like a receipt of your taxes. To use it, just enter your annual income and your state. A breakdown of government expenses is then shown as a ratio of your income.
