Go Poll Go is a free to use web service that helps you create online polls. You start by creating an account on the site and then specifying the poll question along with its answers. You can add up to 8 voting options for the poll. You can add tag words to the poll and choose to make it public or private. An expiration date for the voting can also be set.

With your poll finalized, you can start sharing its URL. As people submit their votes you can log into your account and see the voting results in numbers and as percentages.

To the right of the poll, the countdown watch displays the time left for voting.

Through a button located at the bottom right of the poll you can get the poll’s code that lets you embed it on your own site or blog.

Visitors to your poll’s page can also leave comments and interact with one another by leaving each other replies.

Three Words is a free to use website that helps you find out how your friends would describe you. You sign up for an account and then set up a simple webpage with a custom avatar and background image. You are provided with a public URL for your webpage, which you can share with your friends. When they visit it, they will see a page where they can describe you in three words. Optionally they can leave an additional note.

On your Three Words dashboard you can see which words people use to describe you.

Anybody can create and post a question on Intervue seeking responses. The question can be made public or private and can be opened to anybody or only registered users. The video responses can also be made public or kept hidden. All the public responses can be viewed by anybody and commented on. Each Intervue also gets a unique URL that can be used to share it with friends.

Once enough responses have been gathered, the status of the Intervue can be changed to inactive and responses can be downloaded.

If you want to channel this anonymity and gather feedback on what friends really think about you, SayAtMe gives you the chance to do just that. Create an account on this site and people can tell you what they think about you with no risk of you finding out who they are. You’ll be given a URL you can share with friends, and they can give you honest feedback about yourself.

The idea here is people will tell you things about yourself they’d otherwise be embarrassed to tell you. Maybe it’ll be that your swearing bothers them, maybe it’ll be that you leave a mess when you stay over, or perhaps that you have a drinking problem that needs to be dealt with. Point is your friends will be friendly and point out ways you can become a better person.

Of course, as anyone who’s posted a video on YouTube can tell you, anonymity can turn otherwise nice people into jerks (see Internet Dickwad Theory). You’ll probably run into at least some of this, so while you might learn a lot you should probably take what you find out with a grain of salt.
