Display Calibrator is a free and simple to use web tool that helps calibrate your computer’s display or phone’s screen. All you have to do is visit the website through your computer or phone and then adjust the device’s brightness and contrast to make the site’s black, white, and gray color shades and bands visible. A key to how the bands and shades should appear is provided in the site’s lower section. By calibrating your display using this website, you will ensure that all shades are displayed appropriately by your screen.

How it works. Get a unique URL from the Jumbotron website and open it on each device. Each device will show a visual AR code. Place the devices on a surface and take a picture of this arrangement to a specified email address. Email the picture you want to cut across devices and see it distributed on each screen. The software that runs on their servers analyzes the picture and decides how to splice it up and distribute it to different displays.

• Gamma checker: lets you check gamma level of your monitor, if gamma levels are poor you could be missing some details on images and games you play.
• Phasing checker: Lets you view how bad phasing has got on your monitor. The test will show you an simple image, if this image appears phase (blured) then you may have poor clock settings.
• Brightness checker: Lets you check the brightness levels on your monitor. If you have incorrect brightness on your monitor it could be showing you the wrong colors.
• Flicker fixer: This test helps you fix flickering screen, it will show you a simple pattern and if it is flickering use auto-config button on your monitor. It shoul fix the problem.
• Dead pixel fixer: This test lets you fix stuck and dead pixels on your screen. Just start the test on full screen mode and leave it for about a hour.

By doing so, people with large widescreen monitors can better utilize their browser screen space. After trying it out, I’d recommend it only for people with 24″ and larger screens.

The application is still in beta and promises to add more features in the future. On the other hand, if you are not keen on using DualPage then check out a Firefox plugin called Split Browser. It offers the same functionality and even more.
