Linked Leaks is a free and simple to use web service. You can start using the website by linking your LinkedIn account with it. Next you can confidentially share salary information with your LinkedIn contacts by interacting with them via LinkedLeaks. Your exchanges are visible only to you and your counterpart. Get Raised is a web service that asks you a series of questions to determine whether or not you are underpaid. You start by specifying your profession and then progress to your experience, time with current employer, past raises in salary, current annual salary, and location. Based on this data, your annual salary is displayed on a curve that represents the salary of similar people in your profession, area, and with the same level of experience. Your location on the curve, represented by a yellow dot, indicates how your salary ranks with others. The dot greatly helps in determining whether you are underpaid or not.

If you find that you are underpaid you should go to your company and ask for a raise, supporting yourself by presenting the stats in front of them. You can even get Get Raised to write you a raise request letter for a one-time fee of $20; if you do not get a raise within 6 months of submitting this raise request letter, the site refunds your money.
