Recordr is a web based audio / video recording tool which lets you easily record yourself live using a microphone and a webcam, and then share that recording with friends. There is no need to register or install anything. Just go to Recordr website (or use the provided bookmarklet) to start recording. Those who don’t have a webcam can record audio messages.

When the recording is complete, give it a title, add tags, and upload it. Then you may instantly start sharing it with others by embedding on your pages and posting to Twitter, Facebook etc.

Chir.ps is a new web service that lets you easily audio record yourself online and then share your voice recording on Twitter. All you have to do is click on the record button and then start speaking into the microphone. Once you are done recording, add your text message and click on the “Tweet Your Audio Now” button to post it on Twitter.

Users may also upload existing audio files (mp3, wav, wma, acc, ogg) from their PCs anduse them instead of recordings.

KissTunes lets you play tunes using your keyboard and instantly record them online. Each recorded tune is automatically saved at its own URL, which you can visit later to play the tune. You can then share your recording with your friends by forwarding its URL, where they can play it and leave comments.

LiveTyping is an interesting text recorder that can record text as you type. It records absolutely everything you enter, typos, deleted letters, new versions… etc. When finished typing you can replay and view how exactly you wrote that text. Earfl is a website which aims at creating a new revolution similar to what blogging did by letting people write about their personal life and publish it online easily, but in a different manner. Here instead of looking at articles written by people, you actually get to hear them. Earfl is actually a cool way to create, share and listen to stories online. And the stories are in the form of voice recording of those who narrated it over the phone to Earfl. Hence it adds a human factor to the stories by letting people record it in their own voice and share it online.

As you can see in the screenshot above, it’s a pretty simple process. You first need to register at the earfl site and then call up 415-223-3802 and read out your story which gets recorded in the form of a voicemail and when you hangup it appears online in your Earfl account. It also asks you to enter your phone number during registration to automatically save recordings from that phone number to your account.

Additionally, you can join groups or just listen to stories submitted by other members while watching the cool slideshows.
