When it comes to cooking websites, there are many that the Internet offers you. Most of these sites let you search for cooking recipes according to the ingredients you want included in the recipe. Gojee asks you first to create an account before you can start looking for recipes. Recipefy is an online cookbook and food recipe social network. It lets you submit, share and manage your favorite food recipes online and discover new recipes submitted by users from countries all over the world. You can browse recipes from different countries, filter them by type (appetizers, starters, main courses etc) and by popularity.

To submit and share your own recipes, you have to register on the site or log in with your existing Twitter/Facebook/Google accounts. As a registered user, you can submit recipes, browse recipes of other users, leave comments, vote on recipes (“I like it”) and follow other users.

To add a recipe, fill out the ingredients, directions, prep and cook time, cooking level (easy, medium, difficult) and attach a cover photo. Moreover, you can add photo directions and even upload a video. You can then share it on the site or make it private.

While you can find recipes in the normal way on Google, like a search query, it is likely that the results are mixed up with things you didn’t intend to find. Now, Google has introduced a new way to search for recipes that lets you find the right recipes quickly and easily. The Recipes view, which you should now find in the search options in the Google sidebar, restricts the searches to recipes only and also lets you filter them by ingredients, cooking time and calorie count. You can also get ratings, pictures and more.

I did a few searches and found the results to be quite accurate in terms of what I was looking for. Plus the filtering capabilities helped me narrow down to the exact recipe quite easily.
