Google Image Chart Creator is a free to use web service that lets you create wonderful charts and images. These images cover map diagrams, pie charts, graphs, line plots, and many others.

All you have to do is click on the image type you want to create. Next you start entering the data values. These include the chart’s title, size, data styles and points, and various others depending upon the type of chart you have created.

As you enter these values, the chart preview that appears on the right pane gets updated. From here you can get the direct URL of the image from where it can be downloaded in the PNG format. You also get the chart’s HTML code that can be used for embedding on your blog or website.

GoGoPlot is a free web service that lets you plot anything. Because the service intends to keep things simple, it does not have extensive plotting features.

You can create “˜topics’ which are individual graphs. For each topic you plot one point daily. The value of each plot can be anything from 0 to 10. The daily plotted points are then joined by straight lines. You can choose to show multiple topics simultaneously and visually compare them.

Apple device owners can get GoGoPlot’s free iPhone app and record plots from their handset for convenience. Other features of the site such as entering multiple daily plots or viewing your data as a list can be obtained by subscribing to the site’s paid services.

Since I was pretty good at maths and physics, I tried out certain equations to check the accuracy of the tool. I have to say that I wasn’t disappointed. It comes up with fairly accurate graphs.

You can also drag points on the graph or locate specific coordinates. You could zoom in too if you need to take a better look. It’s certainly a useful tool for school and college students.
