Decide-o-tron is a free to use iOS application compatible with iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad running iOS version 4.1 or later. The app is sized at 17 MB and uses a variety of settings to learn which game you will be interested in. You can specify parameters such as platforms, genres, ESRB ratings, and review scores. Optionally you can include games from your wishlist – a list of games that the app helps you maintain.

According to your preferences, games are recommended to you to try out. In addition to these, Decide-o-tron recommends trending games as well which gamers would generally be interested in.

KatHack: Have Fun Playing Katamari On Websites

Are you bored visiting the same websites over and over again? If yes, then there’s a fun game you can play to change the sites’ view. It’s called Katmari Hack.

Katmari Hack works through a browser bookmarklet. When you click the bookmarklet, it presents a tiny ball that you can roll by dragging through the right-click button. As the ball rolls on a webpage, it keeps gathering the page’s elements. Elements attach to the ball and the ball grows larger. Seeing the webpage transform as it is stripped of its elements is quite fun.

Before the ball is shown and you start playing Katamari, you can choose the ball color, maximum attached objects, and growth speed. You can also choose to play the game’s background music.

Free Oldies is a great website that lets its visitors play abandonware games for free. You can browse the available games alphabetically, according to their release year, or genre-wise.

While browsing you will see each game’s name, its genre, and its game rating.

When you find a game you are interested in, click on its link and you will be taken to a page where its download sources will be provided.

Web developers have made use of Google Maps in a number of ways but “Battlecell” is perhaps is one of the few games where Google Maps was used to create a game.

Battlecell is a new and impressive MMORPG. Signing up and playing the game is absolutely free. The game combines elements from chess, GO, and StarCraft in the sense that it requires thinking but expands over a very large arena.

The game places you in a time where governments and economies have collapsed and it is every man for himself. The world, obtained through Google Maps, is divided into 55 million cells. You need to occupy land to survive.

You start out with one cell and as time passes, you earn credits to purchase soldiers and other means to take over other cells. When you sign up, a PDF manual is sent to you which includes all the details of the game and how to play it.
