BreathingEarth is a real-time simulation tool that shows stats like CO2 emissions, birth and death rates, and CO2 emitted per person. The stats are given both for each country and worldwide. The data for stats comes from reputable sources like CIA World Factbook and United Nations Statistics Division.

To view stats for any country, just point on its location on the map with a mouse cursor. The stats will be instantly displayed at the bottom of the map.

The main goal of this site is to inform people about dangers of climate change and global warming; the looming ecological catastrophe that comes with it and what we can do about it.

I love playing chess and hence when I came across a hassle free and cool online chess game, I just couldn’t resist posting about it. FlashChess3 is a website which offers offline as well as online versions of a flash based chess game. The offline version would set you back by $7.95, however the online version is free to use.

I mostly play chess online against the computer and love it because it’s fast, quick to load, clear instructions and no hiccups. It offers 3 different difficulty levels to play with the computer. Just play a knock-out with the computer and see how you perform in the game.

Yes, Turbanizer is one of those fun image tools available online which lets you modify your image and puts a turban on your head. You can upload your photo from your computer or from sites like Facebook and flickr and then resize it through a slider and get the best suited turban from a good collection of fancy turbans.

You should make sure that your photo has your face facing the front and it’s not greater than 2 MB in size. After you upload it , it gives you the option to increase the closeup of your face through a horizontal slider. Then you can select a turban from the right hand side menu and resize the turban too, using a separate slider so that it fits your head. In the screenshot below, I got a turban which Turbanizer calls the ‘ Manmohan Turban ‘ meaning the one worn by the Indian prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.

Overall, it’s a nice fun tool to play around with.
