Want to keep a history of your web browsing activity? WebMynd is a Firefox extension that automatically saves full version of any webpage you visit so that you can access them anytime later. Visually browse your browsing history, search for text through your history (Google Web History can do this as well), access your browing history offline and more.

How does it work?

First download and install the WebMynd plugin.
Continue to browse web as you normally do.
Click on to WebMynd button on your browser to access the archive.

Furthermore, you have an option to turn WebMynd on/off with a single click. Quite handy if you don’t want WebMynd to record certain sites.

BuyLater: Get Price or Status Change Alerts for Amazon Items

BuyLater is a Firefox extension that can monitor your favorite Amazon listings for price or status changes and alert you by email or Twitter. Say you found something on Amazon but the item is out of stock or just too expensive, using BuyLater you can add it to the “watch list” and get notified when its price/status changes.

How does it work ?

1. Download and install BuyLater extension.
2. Enter the email address where you want to receive the alerts.
3. If you want to be alerted via Twitter then go to twitter.com/buylater and click “Follow”.
4. Next time you come accross an Amazon product you want to watch just click on “Buy this Later” button.

Additional Features:

Unlimited: Watch as many items as you like.
Get alerts on your email or Twitter account (which can be forwarded to your cell phone, email, or IM).
Currently available to Firefox and Flock users only.
Works only on Amazon.com
Manage your “watch-list” online: Add and remove product listings.

It’s really hard to stay productive these days. Especially when most of your working hours are spent online. It’s really easy to lose track of your time and get carried away with addictive sites like StumbleUpon, Digg or Facebook. So what can you do about it? 8aweek is a Firefox toolbar that helps your control your browsing activity and hopefully improve it.

First you select the websites that you consider as time killers. Next you set a timer that will count the total daily time spent on those selected websites and alert you as soon as it exceeds the max. allowed time. Alternatively, you can also switch to the block mode and completely block those websites once the daily time exceeds the maximum.

Mr Uptime is an extension for your Firefox browser that comes in handy when you come across a website that’s experiencing down time. MrUptime allows you to quickly add such websites to the watchlist and will alert you as soon as the website is back online.

MrUptime Features

Monitor down/error pages by: server status code (i.e. when status changes from error to OK) or by keyword/s on the webpage (see demo below).
Watchlist Duration: Specify Set how long you want to keep checking a website. (24 hours, 120 hours, etc)

MeeTimer is a simple time management Firefox addon that helps you understand how you spend your time online. How much of it is spent productively and how much went into procrastination. Basically, MeeTimer keeps track of the visited websites in any given day, records total time, and groups them into activity-based categories (e.g. Myspace/Facebook = procrastination; Gmail = communication, etc.). So, at the end of the day you get a clear picture of your daily activity.
