Photo Tagger is a Facebook app by Face.com which helps in proper tagging of your Facebook pictures and lets you organize them in custom albums. It also notifies you by email when a photo with you in it is uploaded across the network, be it tagged or un-tagged. It utilizes its facial recognition technology in identifying your pictures.

The way it works is this – you select the type of face alert you’d like to receive, authorize the app to access your pictures, have your photos scanned by the app and add tags on multiple pictures. It’ll auto-tag most of the pictures, rest you can add them yourself. The tagged pictures are then published on your profile.

Txtful is a neat app which provides a quick way for getting things done online. What it does is simple but very useful. It has got quick shortcut links for a huge list of popular sites like Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, Bestbuy etc. Register with them, set up the sites, name the shortcuts and you are done. You could now use their service directly from your instant messnger, email or phone (SMS is currently US only).

An example of this would be that if you want to add a movie to your Netflix queue or update your Facebook status, you could just type a simple sentence using the shortcut and send it to Txtful using your cellphone, email or IM. And it’s done. You don’t need to visit the website to do it.

Txtful is currently in beta and is free while it is in beta period. It also claims to be a very secure tool. As they mention:

“We take many steps in order to protect your data, and every bit of information you give us is encrypted using the AES-128 standard, which is the same what the U.S. Government uses to protect its secret documents.”

HelloTxt is an aggregate of microblogging services through which users can quickly publish to multiple popular microblogging services simultaneously. Post to Twitter, Pownce, Facebook, Tumblr and several other networks at the same time. One message that goes to all accounts.

HelloTXT Features

Supported services: Twitter, Jaiku, Pownce, Facebook, Tumblr, Meemi (Italian), Beemood, Gozub (Spanish), Frazr (German).
Registartion is not required. Although makes it a lot easier to use.
If you register you will be able to use your HelloTXT username to access multiple microblogging services at the same time without the need to type-in username/password details for each of them.
