Youtube Catcher is a Youtube download tool that allows you to save desired Youtube videos to your PC.

Obviously we have covered several similar Youtube downloaders before, FLVPlay, ExtractVideo, ClipNabber and so on. Quite honestly, it really doesn’t matter which one you use, at the end of the day all of them do the same thing. You copy and paste the URL of the video and then download it to your PC in .FLV (flash) format.

The only thing to keep in mind here is how you want to keep and watch these videos. If you have a flash video player installed then you have nothing to worry about. On the other hand, if you don’t have it and still want to watch downloaded videos on your PC or maybe transfer them to your mobile device then you should use something like vConvert instead. With vConvert not only can you download videos but also choose in what format you want them so that they can be watched in Windows Media Player, Quicktime, iPod, mobile, etc.

Update:

My bad, apparently Youtube Catcher also offers Youtube to MP3 convertor (like previously covered FLVto). If you enter a Youtube video it will extract the audio from the video to an mp3 file which you download and listen to on your PC, iPod etc.
