Managing your Twitter contacts is a necessary evil for all active Twitter users, especially if you follow a lot of people. Of course, you don’t want to clutter up your stream with tweets from people that you believe are not worthy of following. Enter ManageTwitter, it is a new twitter follower management tool that lets you view contacts who do not follow back, as well as those who are inactive, so you can do a batch unfollow easily.

To use ManageTwitter, simply go to its homepage and allow the app to access your Twitter account. Once you are set, ManageTwitter will show your contacts who are not following you back. You can also see inactive contacts (those who have not tweeted for the past 30 days), talkative contacts (those who tweet more than 5 times a day), and quiet contacts (those who tweet less than 1 time per day). From there you can select those who you want to remove from your contact list.

The app also displays the last tweet of those contacts as well as the time it was tweeted so you’ll be informed before making a drastic decision, especially if you are considering unfollowing your inactive contacts.

We have reviewed a number of online services offering different ways to share your contact details like using virtual business cards or even text messages. This time I stumbled upon a site called QRVcards.

QRVcards is yet another web service aims to make it easy for you to share your contact information with others. What makes it different is the fact that it does the whole thing using barcodes. For instance, you can generate your own barcode that contains your contact details. Folks can use the mobile cam to scan the code and get your contact details. (Not sure what these codes are? Read this MakeUseOf article to find out.)

Adding your contact info to QR code is very easy, simply enter your contact details and choose preferred barcode type and size. Then click on the “Create Barcode” button. Once it’s ready you can print it on your business card, a sticker or your t-shirt. Others will be able to scan it using their mobile phones.

Jigsaw is a service where you can find and get access to hard to obtain business contacts and company information. Jigsaw boasts over 6 million business contacts, with 300.000 companies and several thousands of contacts added on a daily basis.

How it works?: You simply request a contact you need and if it exists in their database you get contact’s details including name, title, email and the phone number.
