All My Books is a desktop application that helps you create an eBooks database which makes it easier to manage the eBooks stored on your computer. Supported formats include FB2, FB2.ZIP, LRF (Sony Reader), LIT, MOBI, PRC, PDB, EPUB, and RB (RocketBook).

The program’s setup file is nearly a 10MB download and compatible with Windows computers. You can go for the app’s 30 day trial before you opt for the $39.95 full software. Once you have the program installed you can begin importing eBooks from your hard drive and add them to the All My Books database.

With each added book, information is gathered from the web and you are given the option to fill in fields such as author, title, binding, number of pages, etc. You can even add fields of your own to better define the books in your collection. With the fields entered you can search for books using specific criteria.

Hobzy is a free to use website that gives you an online space to showcase the items that you created while pursuing your hobby. So if you enjoy making candles, Hobzy is where you can put up pictures of your finished candles.

You start by creating an account on the site and then selecting to create a ‘collection’ which is basically a dedicated page for your hobby. Each collection gets a unique theme and URL. You can upload pictures to your collection. Sharing the URL lets others view your work. Hobzy users can favorite your images and leave comments on them.

The site offers a free package with a 250 MB storage capacity and a premium package with a storage capacity of 10 GB and rate of $10 per month.

Once you have Movie Monkey installed, all you need to do is import your movie files into the program, where the tool organizes them by genre. You can now click on each entry to read more about the movie. In addition it sorts movies into watched and not watched lists, so that you can quickly pull up movies that have been sitting in your hard drive waiting to be watched. Finally, you can use the movie information to search for titles in your hard drive.

Movie Monkey is a cool movie sorter for those who cannot be bothered to download a media center. The program is currently in free beta – just type “makeuseof” in the invite code to download the app.
