Keeping a to-do list for the day helps you to not forget any tasks you were planning to get completed.

Timeslot is a free to use service that lets you schedule your day in a very convenient way. You start by creating an account on the website. Afterwards you receive an empty list with today’s date. You can start adding tasks for the day and specifying their duration.

By default tasks are 1 hour long and start immediately after the previous tasks; but you can always change the duration and starting and ending times of the tasks. The result is a complete schedule for the day that tells you which tasks needs to be completed at which moment.

Here is another distraction-free app that also helps you become more productive. iDoneThis is an email-based tool that lets you log your productivity by simply asking what you did today. This tool records your answer in a month-view calendar so you can easily check your progress and motivate you to do better.

Once you have the tool set up, iDoneThis serves as your mini-assistant that reminds you to log what you did. Knowing that you got something done today and logging it is the best feeling in the world, especially after a productive day. You can only log thing you have done through your email. Once your logs fill up, you will hopefully notice a trend on whether you have been working for the past weeks or not. This tool becomes your pseudo note-taking app and work diary.

iDoneThis offers a clean execution of a very simple idea. This is especially useful for remote freelancers and workers to be able to record what they have done to move their business – be it closing a client, finishing a milestone, completing tasks, and more.
Features:

Daily productivity log calendar.

It is quite embarrassing to have your phone ring at inappropriate times such as during meetings or in church. The vibrate option helps alert you of calls and messages without disturbing people nearby. To ensure that your phone enters the vibrate mode at special events, check out a tool called “Busy Me Lite”.

Busy Me Lite is a smartphone application for Android devices. The app is sized at only 23KB and runs on Android 2.1 and later. You can have the application read your calendar every 5 minutes and detect upcoming busy events. To mark events you want detected, just add ‘#busy’ anywhere in the event’s description. When a busy event begins on the calendar, the app sets the phone’s ring tone profile to vibrate. When the event ends, the profile setting is reverted back to its previous state.

Features:

A user-friendly smartphone application.

Compatible with Android devices.

Sets your phone to vibrate at busy events.

Automatically detects the beginning of a busy event.
