Songtrust hopes to replace traditional music publishing managers, especially if you are an independent artist. The tool allows you to upload your songs to register and secure them online. Once your song is registered, some companies may use your music commercially. Songtrust tracks the music played and automatically credits you with earnings you made. MyFavBands is a free and simple to use web service that helps you keep track of your favorite bands. The site shows whether any band you like is playing in your city.

You start by creating an account on MyFavBands; during account creation you specify your location; this location can be changed later if you want. You then log in and add all the bands you want to track.

The bands’ information is pulled from iTunes and the concert information from LastFM. If any one of their future concerts is in your city, it will be shown on your MyFavBands dashboard. Optionally you can receive emails for any upcoming band performances in your city.
