Most calendar applications for your smartphone simply connect events and tasks with dates. But there is a lot of other information you would want to know while viewing events. For example, what would the weather be like on that day and how to get the place of the event. For this, you need a more comprehensive calendar application. This is precisely what an app called Sunrise Calendar offers.
Sunrise Calendar is a free to use application compatible with iOS devices. The app is sized at nearly 9 MB and works on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices running version 6.0 or later of iOS. The function of the application is to work as your event-viewing application. This calendar application signs in through your Facebook account; after you sign in, it can synchronize with your Google Calendar events and display them to you in a viewer friendly interface.
Apart from providing you with a complete list for tasks of the day, the application includes the birthdays of friends, the daily weather, and adjustments for your time zone. In case the events on your application have a venue associated with them, the app will display the directions to that place using Google Maps. Similarly if the task details includes information about the person you are meeting, you can look up their LinkedIn information to know more about them.
The app supports connecting multiple Google Calendars to get events from all of your calendars. But the app also supports quickly adding new events from right within the interface.
