steekR: Online Backup + File Sharing Client

SteekR is a light desktop client that allows you to securely backup, store, view, and share your files online. It combines both file sharing and online backup solutions in one service. Also supports file collaboration and remote streaming of stored media files. Available both for Mac and Windows PCs.

• Securely upload and store your music, photos, videos and other files online.
• Stream your video and audio from anywhere.
• Share individual files or complete folders with friends.
• Option to allow your friends / colleagues to upload files to designated folder. Especially convenient when collaborating on files with others.
• Free accounts are limited to 1GB of storage space. No restrictions on the bandwidth usage.
• Coming soon: option to view and edit office document directly from the browser.
• Free Desktop client (Mac, Windows): setup scheduled online backup, upload / download files, drag’n drop files to Steekr account, and more (see chart below).
• Over 1 million of registered users.

SteekR offers two different desktop clients: steekR Drive and steekR DriveDrive. Depending on your needs (backup, storage, file sharing …) you may prefer one over the other but you can also get both of them.
