Spectackler: Compare Electronic Products Side-By-Side

Spectackler is a neat web app that tries to help you with the buying decision for electronic products. It lets you find the exact product you’re looking for by letting you search for electronics and gadgets and then easily compare them side-by-side.

The site pulls all of the information from the Amazon product database. You are able to search for products by name, browse them by category such as accessories, audio & video, camera & photo, computers and so on.

Once you have the results in front of you simply star the items you like to compare them side-by-side.

Moreover, use the slider controls to filter the items further. You can set preferences for features like product rating, price, brand, warranty…. etc. The Spectackler simultaneously adjusts the results to your settings. There are also a wide range of sorting options, see below.

Specktackler comparison feature makes it easy to find out which product is best for you.

Overall Spectacler is a good tool to search for electronic products and gadgets and it is certainly better than Amazon’s default search engine. My only complaint is that sometimes when there is not enough of data for the product on Amazon comparisons are rather limited.

Features:

  • Compare consumer electronic products side-by-side.
  • Search product items by name or browse by category.
  • Refine results by product rating, price, brand, warranty…. etc.
  • No registration needed.
