Socializr is a free to use web service that lets you create online events and share them with friends. You can start by creating an account on the site and browsing the events already published there. You can start creating your own events as well in which you specify details such as event name, host name, date and time, and a description in special text formatting.
Your events are published on a unique URL that you can share with friends. Friends can comment and RSVP to the event using the online event page.
Other features of the site include letting you create a profile, maintain an address book, and send and receive messages.
