Sneakerpedia is a new site launched by Foot Locker, the popular online retailer for shoes and other footwear. As the name suggests, the site focuses on the segment of Foot Locker’s audience that’s passionate about sneakers (believe me, there are a lot of such people out there). Users can post pictures of their sneakers, details like brand, size, color, release date, personal product insights and suggestions they might have, and also stories where their sneakers had a role to play. You can also search for all kinds of sneakers while applying filters like brand, type, material, color etc on the site.

Currently, the sneaker photos on the site appear to be added by the site owners, and not a lot of user submitted content can be found. I am guessing this will change as word spreads about this new site.
