With the US elections coming up this year, a site like Skewz is essential. The media is either hopelessly liberal or unapologetically conservative, so much so that it becomes difficult to tell them apart.

Skewz can help you to filter out the blue stories (liberal) from the red ones (conservative). You can read each story, knowing right from the start which side the publication takes and where the journalist’s loyalties lie.
You can get both viewpoints on a particular subject as well as being able to submit your own stories, comment on the featured stories and rate them. Basically it’s the political version of Digg.com.
If submitting, commenting and rating US political news is your thing, then head on over to Skewz to sign up for a free account.
