SendMeHome is an innovative concept built into a nice free website. As it mentions – ” A free tool to recover lost items “. It accomplishes this by asking you to register your precious items by creating an account and assigning them a unique tag ID which they claim would never be taken off. Then you can print out that tag label and paste it on the item. If you lose it and someone else finds it, then by looking at the label he can understand that he needs to go to that website to return or ship that item to you.

As you can see in the screenshot above, it’s a 3 step process where you create a tag and then paste the label on the item and the 3rd item comes if you lose it and someone finds it and enters the tag at the website. Of course it cannot control the intentions of that person if he is not willing to return what he found out.
