ScrubIT : Free DNS Servers to Boost Your Connection

ScrubIT is FREE DNS service that offers a bunch of useful improvements to your internet connection. These include better connection speed, automatic blocking of malicious websites and domain typo fixer. It takes about a minute to setup and there are two ways to do it. 1. Open your network connections and change DNS server settings to 67.138.54.120 and 207.225.209.77, OR (2) download and run automatic ScrubtIt utility (Windows 2000 and XP) to do this for you. Another very similar service is OpenDNS.

      Yep, they seem to be offline for some reason. I ‘d recommend going with OpenDNS instead (link above).

    Great.I had to use the Comcast DNS servers because it would not connect to the internet with the OpenDNS servers but when I switched it to the ScrubIT DNS servers they work but I can ping the OpenDNS servers.

    Does anyone know why ScrubIt is no longer working? Seemed like a pretty good software tool.

    Thank alot, my ISP’s dns is junk and scrubit makes a difference.
