Scribbly: Take Notes While Surfing The Web (Firefox Addon)

If your work involves a lot of internet usage, you might come across things you needed to note down. While the web offers numerous note-taking tools, Scribbly stands out from the crowd.

Scribbly is an addon for Mozilla Firefox. The objective of the addon is to help users take notes. But Scribbly is a lot more than a mere note-taking app. It places an icon in the bottom right corner of the Firefox window. You can click this icon to pop open Scribbly’s window. Enter the settings tab to provide the addon with an email address.

You can now use Scribbly to send all your notes to this email address. While typing your notes, you can use the timestamp button to enter the current date and time within the note. Clicking on “Send” will email your note to the address you specified earlier.

This looks perfect for taking quick notes to evernote, if you don’t always want to open the program, because sometimes evernote is slow.

Just put your evernote email in it.
