Setok,

Thanks for the insightful feedback. I agree some of the features like offline access with the option to sync changes later is a must-have one.

Except that BillMonk doesn't have a version which works as an offline application on your phone (synchronising back to the server) and they're not particularly good at multiple currencies. We do automatic exchange based on the time the transaction was made so you always know your situation in the currency you use. Last time I even tried to use multiple currencies with BillMonk, it crashed (and as far as I could tell, there is no exchange). Both of these features are absolute essential when out and about or travelling. You quite simply do not carry your laptop around with you and you cannot assume there's even cellular connection in the places you go.

Additionally while BillMonk has debt shuffling, it's a bit involved. Our concept of pools does this automatically. Just get your friends together inside a pool that you use constantly, or something specific to an activity. Scred balances out everything all the time. Again, makes coming back from a trip really easy, or even just continuously with your friends.

I know that as a developer of Scred I'm obviously biased, but I thoroughly recommend looking at Scred. In a short time we have bumped features which BillMonk lacks and which are extremely useful. Of course this is only the beginning for Scred...

Me and my friends use Billmonk. Similar concept. Using that for more than 6 months. Works great.
