solar power for your home

First locate your house on the map. Next draw the array of solar panels on your roof and set slope orientations. Once you have finished drawing the RoofRay will give an estimate amount of power you would be able to generate. This will give you a fairly good idea whether the solar power is a good choice for you (taking into account cost and power production).

Features:

  • Estimate the amount of solar power you can generate from your roof.
  • No sign up necessary, unless you want to save your estimations online.
  • Simple and easy to use

This is a GREAT idea! I’m looking at starting a new business and was thinking about adding solar collection. Saw a show on PBS about a family along the east coast that had put in solar collectors. It was going to take them about 10 years to pay it off. But their electric bill had dropped.
Now I can see if it is financially a sound idea to add these.
