Timer is a free tool that lets you use Twitter as an alarm for things you need to remember. Like with many other Twitter services all you need to do is add the Timer to your Twitter friends.

Whenever you find something that you want to be reminded about later, simply send a direct message to Timer in the following format:

* If you’re sending a direct message via SMS/Twitterific, then use the format like in the example above. However if you’re using Twitter directly then you can omit the d timer part.
