Timer : Set Reminder Alerts using Twitter

Timer is a free tool that lets you use Twitter as an alarm for things you need to remember. Like with many other Twitter services all you need to do is add the Timer to your Twitter friends.

Reminder Alerts using Twitter

Whenever you find something that you want to be reminded about later, simply send a direct message to Timer in the following format:

d timer [# of minutes until reminder] [your message] *
Example: d timer 15 check inbox. (Timer will send you ‘Check inbox’ in 15 minutes)

Features:

  • Use Twitter to set alerts on things you want to remember.
  • Set as many alerts as you like.
  • 5 minutes is the minimum amount of time that you can set.

* If you’re sending a direct message via SMS/Twitterific, then use the format like in the example above. However if you’re using Twitter directly then you can omit the d timer part.
