Remounce is a simple web based plus mobile tool which helps you set up reminders and announcements through SMS text messages. It is a free service and by looking at the phone carrier list, it appears that people from the US could make the most of it. The user interface is simple and easy to understand.
How it works ?
Here’s what the Remounce team has to say - “There are two ways of setting it up. First, you can sign in via the web and set up alarms/reminders/announcements which can then be used at a later time via the web or your phone. If you choose to user your phone, you simply send in a text message with a specific code and we’ll send you the corresponding message. Second, you could input alarms/reminders/announcements via your phone and then retrieve them the same way you would in the first way. Remounce sends you your request via text message. That way you can retrieve your information whenever and wherever you want it.”
