I think I will stick with Camtasia Studio. It’s nore feature-rich, stable, and a long-time app in my stable of tools.
This would be acceptable if you compare between two similar systems, applications, or devices such as Windows 7 and Mac OS. However, in this case PT Recorder is a simple tool, not studio, for capturing various types of media including slides, whiteboard and drawing board. Furthermore, the tool is free and PresentationTube provides a video network for hosting and sharing network.
