Patents.com is a comprehensive patents search website which lists more than 450 million patent pages in 15 different languages. It has a well organized user interface and patents display tool which could be considered even better than Google’s patent search service.

The homepage of patents.com displays a search bar which gives you 4 search options – simple search, advanced search, expert search and bulk search. It also displays some recently claimed patents and the most popular search topics.

You can search through different terms and keywords and get the patents in text view or image view along with the translations. To enable the image view you’d need to install the Adobe Acrobat plugin for your browser. There is also further information available about patents including descriptions and references.
