Why does Mashlife work and Passpack not? (What causes the compatibility issue?)

I had been using Passpack for 1 year but now I'm moving to mashedLife.com, since I need to stay in sync with the rest of the world and Mash life gives me much more freedom with the versatile tools:

http://mashedlife.com/tools.php

Also there are certain sites I can't use Passpack to log in, but I can use Mash life to log into. It is purely for daily pragmatic reasons for my move.

Just my 2 cents
