We have already reviewed tools like Barcode Laber Printer and Barcode Generator which can be used to encode information (ex. text, phone number, address etc) into a barcode label. The encoded information behind a barcode label can then be read by a standard barcode scanner or a cellphone with a barcode decoder software.
Barcode Reader, on the other hand, is a free online barcode decoder that can read and reveal the stored information behind any standart barcode label.
Simply upload an image file with the barcode on it and click on the “Send file” button. It automatically detects the barcode format and type of encoded information (text, URI etc.) and displays it on the screen.
