Unlimited bandwidth and storage space. The only restriction it has is that on individual file size, it can’t be bigger than 1 GB.

Certainly very nice, but to what I’ve understood from their Web site, all files are shared. So forget private data!

Thanks for heads up, I completelly missed that. Ability to keep certain files private is definitely a ‘must have’ feature.

well I tried the site. When you upload something it is ‘public’ by default. So yea need to got thru making each new upload hidden which is hectic. So you can have private data. But hey unlimited and free, needs to have some drawback.

Unlimited uploads is pretty cool, and 1 gig should be fine for everything aside from DVDs. I’ve used mediafire and some other sites like this, but what kept me from really getting involved was an annoying upload process. The desktop based uploader is really smart, but if files are public by default is sounds like there’s still some work to do online for each file… make a second desktop-based private uploader and this will be perfect.
