Mezzoman : Meet in the Middle
Simple web map mashup for locating mid points beween two locations. In case you want to meet with someone and need to find a convenient midpoint this is the app you need. Just enter yours and the location of the person you want to meet with and it will give you a number of midpoints along with nearby food joints. You can also narrow search criteria down and get only the locations that match your food preferences (Pizzeria, Chinese Food, Ice cream, Indian etc.)
Another similar service is HappyMedian. The only difference is that HappyMedian can find midpoints for up to 4 locations.

For RailsRumble 2008 this year, a 48 hour programming competition, we released an app similar to this called MeetInBetween.us
It’s more of a visual mapping interface, works with an infinite number of points and suggests different venues for meeting.
