Mapeas is a website that maps latest world news headlines and news clips on a Google Map. You can visit the site and find various markers on the map. Magnify on a region to find more markers; the numbered markers indicate the number of news clips in that area. Click on a marker and its text plus video thumbnail will be displayed in a floating window. Click on the video thumbnail and it will be played.

If you are short on time you can simply read the accompanying text. The markers on the website have a special coding to them that is separate for business, entertainment, general, science, and sports news.
