MakeMyRingtone: Create a Ringtone From an MP3 Online
MakeMyRingtone is Mobicious powered web utility that allows you to upload a song from your computer, turn it into a ringtone and then get it delivered to your cellphone. The application is free and there is no sign up.
To start, browse for the song of your choice and click ‘upload mp3′. It may take time to upload the song to the website so be patient. Once it has loaded, you will have to select which 30 second interval you would like. Just drag the blue square over the sound you want.
When satisfied, click ‘Send to My Mobile Phone’ or ‘ Save to My Mobicious’. If you clicked ‘Send to My Mobile Phone’ you will be prompted to input your cell phone number as well as your carrier. In some cases you may need to select a manufacturer and model. Click ‘Send to Phone’ when you are done. You will then receive a text message containing the sound. Please note that the ringtone can only be send to US numbers and the time to receive it varies between 10 seconds up to few hours.
