Loggel: Your Online Multimedia Diary

All of the epic adventurers, explorers and intellectuals had one thing in common; they kept a diary. However, blogging and tweeting have pretty much crushed the personal diary as a means of keeping track of what you have been up to. But Web has given us Loggel to contend with.

Loggel is a cool web app that allows you to have an online diary with tonnes of multi-media. You can upload audio, video and pictures to conical your life. This can all be done via a multitude of devices from your home PC right down to that cell phone sitting in your pocket.

You can also keep track of what your friends are up to by following their Loggel account. Loggel has combined all the best bits of Twitter, social networking and blogging and really made it work.

I would recommend this app for those who either travel a lot or who are just too busy to really engage with social networking on a large scale but still want a place for friends to catch up with them and their antics.

Features:

  • Keep your friends and family updated.
  • Upload photos, video and audio. You can also simply use plain text.
  • Can be used from a mobile phone for uploading media and making posts.
  • Geo-tagging: mark your current location on a map.
  • Free registration is needed.
  • Check out lifelogs of other users and make new friends.
  • Similar tools: Memiary, Diary.com and Penzu.
