We made the decision because we wanted a fresh start when we introduced our new model, based on the LearnItLists prototype. We also found that the previous name was difficult to pronounce for non-native English speakers. We chose Learn10 because it was short & memorable, hopefully meaning that people can recall the name and find us again in the future - unlike Web 2.0 names which consist of strange words or odd spellings.
