Thanks for sharing. Trust is definitely a major issue here. If it&#039;s a sensitive document there is no way I would convert/share/store it online.

For all PDF conversion needs I prefer local tools as well. I think PDFCreator is one of the better ones. On the other hand, tools like Koolwire can be very helpful when you don&#039;t have access to programs on your PC. For instance, you&#039;re at work and need to convert some DOC file to PDF.</description>

I like PDF995 http://www.pdf995.com for its simplicity (so good for end users, but costs US$9.95 to get rid of the adware) and PDFCreator http://www.pdfforge.org/products/pdfcreator which is completely free and more capable but harder for the tyro user.</description>
