YouArchiveIt: Backup iPhone SMS Messages Online

YouArchiveIt is a cool iPhone app that lets you backup your iPhone SMS messages online. It stores all of your SMS mesages on the web and lets you access them from wherever and whenever you like. The setup is fairly simple, download the provided client to your phone (TextUploader) and then start importing existing messages. Once the uploading is complete you will be able to search and browse your messages online by date or contact name.

That would be great if we can save SMS online. But I’ve heard that we could backup our iPhone SMS onto our computer. My friend recommended iPhone SMS transfer program to me, and he said it could help copy SMS from iPhone to computer in the format of either .txt or .ants. The latter format would enables us to set a password to the file so as to keep our privacy.

It’s also worth a try. It also offers step-by-step guide. Very thoughtful.
