IMVocal is a cool online app which gives a free online phone number to your instant messenger and allows any mobile phone user to dial into it for free. Just wondering, it sounds great but there must be a limitation. I kind of get the impression that you can call anywhere in the world to your im. I’ve checked the site but it doesn’t clearly state which countries it cannot be used in.
Thanks for your comments. At present IMVocal allows calling from 6 countries to reach a vocalid on the internet: US, UK, France, Australia, Singapore and Japan. http://imvocal.com/country_dailin.jsp
In the next release (very soon), depending upon the demand and feedback we have the capabilities to offer local access numbers in at least 25 other countries.
