HistoryTree: View Your Browsing History as a Tree Diagram
History Tree is a nice add on for Firefox which lets you visualize your browsing history. It displays the websites in a hierarchical structure, hence the name History ‘tree’. It can show such four different history views, show you the screenshot of every page you’ve visited and even pages which you can no longer navigate using the back and forward buttons of the browser.

Although the add-on is currently in experimental mode, it’s got some great reviews and doesn’t appear to have any bugs at the moment.
Features:
- Visualize Firefox history in a tree based view.
- Get 4 different history views for different browser windows.
- Also get screenshots of pages you’ve visited.
- Experimental add-on but got some nice reviews.
You may also go through an alternative tool called About:me, it helps you understand which websites take most of your online time.

Great to see this functionality available in Firefox. The MacWarriors ACM group at the University of Illinois had done something similar in their Trailblazer project in 2004.
I used this for about three weeks now and its excellent. I think its about time someone did something better than just the history “Back” and “Forward” buttons. Its also got a very good Tutorial help page
I think that a proper browsing history tool like this has been needed for years, as discussed here . I know that Apple were planning to create a similar history viewer for Safari about a year ago, but it was never done.
History Tree has been approved by Firefox and is NO LONGER EXPERIMENTAL. You can download the approved version from the same link given above, which is
