Hosting an event is not easy. The difficulties begin before you have even held the event. If you have hosted an event before, you will remember that arranging an event and then inviting your guests over to your house was not very straightforward. Explaining directions to people who have not been to your place before is one small example of the problems you can fall into.
Thankfully however you can use a tool that is built exactly for this purpose. The tool is called Hipvite.
Hipvite is a free to use smartphone application for iOS devices. The app is sized at nearly 5 MB and is compatible with iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad devices running iOS version 5.0 or later. The app lets you quickly set up an event within seconds. While setting up the event the user can specify the start time, the event duration, and the venue which is then indicated on a map; your location against the map is loaded through GPS.
Friends can all be invited from within the application – they can then reply and communicate with you from the app. People who are not using the phone app are sent an invitation to use the service’s web interface and communicate with you from there. Comments left on the app can be read by you and you get all the event organization tools within the same dashboard.
The app provides its users with a list of all events they have been invited to. You can RSVP to your invitations and view them on your app’s dashboard.
Overall, this nifty little application is a powerful event arranging tool which shall help all iOS device owners.
