- Registartion is not required. Although makes it a lot easier to use.
- If you register you will be able to use your HelloTXT username to access multiple microblogging services at the same time without the need to type-in username/password details for each of them.

I’d like to see a desktop application that could do this. Is there any? I just worked some google-fu and found nothing except this blog and a few others that all point to Hellotxt, which I already use.
Yes there are, check out this article. Although it reviews a Mac-only application someone recommended a Windows alternative in comments.
