GenFavicon: Online Favicon Creator

GenFavicon is a simple favicon creator that lets you create custom favicons for your website in 3 easy steps:

  • 1. Select and upload source image.
  • 2. Select the part of the image that you want to appear in the favicon and indicate desired dimensions.
  • 3. Preview generated favicon.
  • 4. Save favicon image to your computer.

    If you want to go for a bit more pizzazz, try an animated favicon for animation on Netscape and Firefox, though not for Internet Explorer, instructions at http://www.cathetel.com/favicon.htm
