Open DNS and proxies report fatal errors with the URL, http://www.freeringer.biz/.

FROM READER: An interesting observation: if you search freeringer on google, it gives freeringer.biz as the top result, but if you click on it, it redirects to https://www.flash2voip.com and this flash2voip has a confusing description of its services. It promises “unlimited number of free” 5 minute calls and the meaning of this “free” they later explained, on contacting by email, is only that they allow you to use their web based application for free – 5 minutes at a time!!! flaphone.com provides a much better web based application entirely free.

Oh, that is interesting. If I’d had my head screwed on properly I’d have gone through a proxy or Tor, in case OpenDNS was causing problems, since it reports ‘not loading’…

…well, well, well. I have used Hidemyass, and through them am autoredirected to flash2voip.com. Curiouser, and curiouser, said Alice. Since the site is not entirely as ‘free’ as a skin flint such as myself would like this is merely educational, but interesting. Something to do with name resolution then? Hmm. (What does it say on this label? /Drink me/? Hmm.>

OIC that I did use a proxy in the first place. Strange.
