FileDropper tags itself as “the simplest file hosting website ever”, and that’s excatly what it is. Using FileDropper’s file uploader you can anonymously upload and store large files indefinitely. There are many other file storage and sharing services out there, but almost all of them have a 100 MB (in some cases 1 GB) per file limit. When it comes to FileDropper this limit is raised to whopping 5 GBs. Thus you can store pretty much anything. Once your files are uploaded, you can email and share them with others. No sign up or registration required.

FileDropper features
Important: Before you go ahead and start sharing your files there are a couple BUTs you need to be aware of. FileDropper doesn’t allow sharing of any copyrighted material and reserves the right to cooperate with authorities in case of a crime.

Checked out FileDropper today, April 3 ‘08. Now you have to sign up and the only free service is a 7 day trial. Too bad.

“No signup or registration required”? I just went there and had to sign-up. Also, has anyone tested the 5gb upload limit? I just tried uploading a 3gb file and it didn’t work.
7 day trial!
SUCKS!
Trial suuuucks. Stick with splitting up archives and uploading to sharenload.com or mailbigfile.com
