update to my previous post. dont bother using this program you can only update from my guess 100meg max files and it randomly removes them from the system so what you upload is gone in about a hour even if your in the middle of downloading it

the other comments are right they do not support big files on their upload the 5g limit is a joke or a lure as said above but they do not tell you as you upload. I have attempted to upload a file 3 times and get a error AFTER the 3 hours of uploading

Hmm, looks fine to me. The part all the way at the bottom about a 7 day trial just looks like an advertisement for a different site. You don’t even have to sign up to start uploading. All you need to do is just click to add your file and start uploading directly from the main page.

It’s a big fake to lure you in, you can’t upload big files. It simply doesn’t work and they don’t answer emails. I paid and it still not worked. KEEP AWAY because they use your personal data for other uses.

I have been using the service since it started. While it seems to work, it does not allow files as large as 250mb as I found out. When I split the files into 60 – 70mb files they uploaded fine. So the 5Gb limit does not work for me.

The other problem is the upload page only works on the latest OS/X 10.5 on Apple computers. It refuses to work on any browser with 10.4 software. Keep this in mind if you sign up and are not bang up to date on an Apple.

I hope the 5gb file size problem is sorted as this was the reason I joined. There has been no feedback or information on the site itself. That page has said information ‘Coming Soon’ since I joined.

Having said the above I have been using it frequently as it makes downloads simple for the people I am sending files to. No registering or pages to wade through. And it is a simple process to upload if I am on the right computer.

ps. It has never given me the option to upload multiple files as the page above shows. I have to upload them one at a time

“No signup or registration required”? I just went there and had to sign-up. Also, has anyone tested the 5gb upload limit? I just tried uploading a 3gb file and it didn’t work.

Checked out FileDropper today, April 3 ’08. Now you have to sign up and the only free service is a 7 day trial. Too bad.

Your review was great and it highlighted the simplicity of our website really well.
